Learned through visiting lost family shrines and speaking with some of the spirits what once lived in the village.⌘ The village he lived in was attacked and fell in the onslaught.⌘ The necromancer and his villa were sucked through a portal and vanished.

⌘ Miuo and her allies crossed through the portal to the villa. The villa looked like it existed in a pocket realm that was tainted and withering. All life seeming leeched from every plant and the the realm in general.⌘ With cautious they all entered the villa and began their search.⌘ In their search they discovered the necromancer had continued his research and experiments.⌘ Finding a variety of new victims the necromancer had experimented on. Most beyond saving,⌘ Those who could be spared further torment were put to death.⌘ The research was found, along with a crystal. The research mentions how the crystal is both a "key" and "map".⌘ A vessel containing tormented souls was found and destroyed. Causing a small explosion that nearly killed several individuals in the party.⌘ The explosion seemed to alert some sort of guard that protected the house. The party tried to flee, but could not get back to where they had come through. Finding another portal on the second floor. Miuo and two other mages set to work on unlocking it and opening it back to a safe location. The others tried to barricade and block the way to hold of the guard that turned out to be an Ogrim.⌘ Managing to get the portal open the party rushed through with barely any time to spare. Snapping the portal closed as the Ogrim came charging at the portal to follow them through.

⌘ While Miuo and her allies were at the Willowreed Academy they were attacked by a Reaper. It nearly killed Miuo, if not for allies being there at the time of the attack she would have died.⌘ The necromancer spoke to her and the others through the reaper, saying they had stolen from him and that he would get back what was taken.⌘ Working together the group destroyed the reaper and parted ways to hide from the necromancer.⌘ The necromancer let slip the crystal is an "Honing Crystal",⌘ Miuo took the crystal and research back to her boarding house to seal it away in her vault and rely on the protection and wards of her house to keep the necromancer from tracking her or the items and finding them.

⌘ Its been revealed the cult was called "Mors Hedera", The Death Ivy Cult, so named for the way something so harmless and unthreatning as creeping ivy can slowly ensnare and choke the life out of a mighty tree.⌘ Miuo has hired an individual to look into the crystal and necromancer's research.⌘ The crystal was cracked along one of its facets while it was being experimented on. Magic was forcibly fed into the crystal revealing runes cast by the inner light of the crystal before it went dark when it was cracked.

It has been years since i've inked my thoughts down on parchment. But nostalgia has been a shadow at my back for days now. In part, perhaps some things should be left to fade and become largely forgotten and not inked boldly down upon a page where no detail can be forgotten. In equal part, I begin to fear that if I do not record things I shall forget more than I can remember. As a Bosmer and a vampire, my life span shall likely go well beyond my ability to accurately recall things.A truth made all the more clear as iv begun to reminisce about my father. How long he lived before he was murdered. How much knowledge and history he forgot, and was lost with him because he did not think to record any of what he knew. Unlike him, my voracious hunger for knowledge has seen my many libraries filled. Even if I perish, at least not all knowledge will be lost with me. It will be in the hands of those I trust to decide what becomes of it all.I should not disregard recording my own story, though none can say whether or not what comes to be inked in these pages will be of use or not. So all I can do is ink it all and let fate unfold as it may.

Iv begun to court the Ash'nad Clan of Vvardenfell. I feel a bit foolish for not realizing that after so many years, there has been a Clan here beneath my nose. It does speak to their skill to go unnoticed and avoid the spread of rumours regarding them or their activities in this land. There seems to be promise in joining them, not only the added benefit of allies and protection. But access to their knowledge. They do not seem to hide or cower away from the knowledge others consider taboo or forbidden. Perhaps they shall be the key in adding me with bringing back my father.So far iv only had the pleasure? Of meeting Lady Rain, one who does not seem to try and conceal what she is. An uncommon trait from the others iv crossed paths with in the past. They tried to wear humanity like a costume to blend. A welcome change from the at times endless dance to appear as others and not draw an angry mob upon myself. If I were to perish the same way as father, I think that might just raise him from his grave to scold my smouldering remains.

It feels as if the lich is stalking the boundaries of my boarding house once more. I had hoped that if I avoided him long enough, he would lose interest in his vendetta against me. It has been months since I felt his oppressive aura, and yet it feels as if it is looming just beyond the wards of my home. Circeling and seeking out cracks or weaknesses in them to get inside. Invatoria has found a few strange relics outside the walls of the boarding house. Seemingly placed.Their origins and purpose are largely unknown. I don't know if it is the work of the lich or another. I've tried seeing into the relics' origins or the hands it passed through before being left at my walls with little success. For now, I have sealed the two relics away in my vault in warded containers, in case it was the Lich's intent to utilize them once they were within my walls.Invatoria, and the others in my staff have been reinforcing the wards and patrolling more often. Checking the barriers and cloaking crystal. None have reported any changes or waning power from either.

I'v been confined to my vault for several days now, the isolation has allowed me to focus on my studies a fair bit. But I grow restless being cut off from others. Invatoria has done her best to be a balm to the loneliness and isolation. But even her presence can only go so far. She has told me that the aura of the Lich has persisted the entire time, as if he is waiting for me to try and make a run for it.He underestimates me if he thinks me so foolish as to just walk outside the wards and into his waiting maw. I wanted to remain on the grounds in case he tried to assault my walls and wards. But he has done nothing more than linger. It feels as if it should be safe enough for me to use the portal to spirit myself away and lure him elsewhere. If I step through several portals in quick succession, I should be able to confuse him as to my whereabouts. It should give me some breathing room and allow me to come and go again unhindered.It has been some time since iv ventured to one of the larger cities, blending in among the masses will help as well. Invatoria is more than accustomed to running things in my absence. I will leave in the morning and spend a few weeks time abroad. Hunting elsewhere will be risky, nor preferred. But if I space out my feedings or prey on those willing, it should not draw too much attention to my presence if I do not remain too long after the fact. When thieves and back-alley brutes turn up dead, few bat an eye. Hews Bane or Riften will likely be two of the first places I venture to and linger for a few days to replenish my self before seeking to blend in among the masses in a larger city.

What started as quickly portaling to Grahtwood, Greenshade, Auridon and then to Summerset before backtracking through another mage's portal to the Rift, has ended with me continuing to travel by more mundane means. Mostly through Elsweyr. Following roads without much through or intent. Allowing fate and chance to guide me. It has proved somewhat beneficial in my finds, and iv not felt the Lich's presence since I departed the boarding house.I've found myself in Blackwood, the dense lands of swamp, forest and a bustling city should provide ample cover for a time. Leyawinn seems to hold some rather appealing trade as well. Since I will likely remain for several days, I've tasked a metalsmith to forge a blade for me. One that I can keep discreetly on myself and appear to be little more than an adornment when glanced in passing.Feeding has been more difficult than I anticipated. I am too accustomed to my own hunting grounds and controlling much of my surroundings. It does not seem to be worth the risk while in Leyawiin. I crossed paths with a bandit two days prior. He mistook me for an easy victim. He did not live long to regret his choice. That will have to sustain me while I remain here. Otherwise I will have to travel on elsewhere with more easy pickings.
